Science Honor Society
The Science National Honor Society was founded to give recognition to high school students who have distinguished themselves in the Sciences.
It's goals are to:
1) encourage and recognize scientific and intellectual thought,
2) advance student knowledge of classical and modern science,
3) aid the civic community with its comprehension of science,
3) promote participation in community service, and
4) encourage the pursuit of scientific knowledge to benefit all mankind.
Membership may be extended to any junior or senior, who has maintained an “A” average in his science classes, and has completed at least one lower and one upper level honors class. In addition, a member must have completed at least one science class per year.
